- It is of course Atari who challanged the German standard, and I am just
- one of the people who support Atari in that, because I think ^W really should
- stand for close window. It is also hard to explain to any English speaking
- person that ^W should mean 'Cycle windows' because Germand for 'cycle'
- is 'wechseln'. If we want to reach an agreement, everyone is going to
- have to make sacrifices!

- And I know that almost any Americain and British program since the Atari
- proposition *HAS* adopted the ^W for close window.

- proposal demand that each application allows a choice between the
- 'German' and the 'Global' standard...
